The all-new Coco Cocoon line of casual handbags and accessories created by Karl Lagerfeld for the French fashion house this Fall/Winter season. Based on a simple pairing of luxury and sportswear, these puffy bags are made of light nylon or lambskin and are comfortably padded, like a soft, warm, quilted coat. Ranging from lightweight shopping bags in mini or maxi versions to bowling bags or backpacks, Lagerfeld makes sure there is a Coco Cocoon bag for every occasion by creating a sizeable collection of different sizes and models in black, beige, ecru, chocolate, navy and burgundy.

Each bag is created with all of Chanel’s savoir-faire that includes flat pockets, practical fastenings and the double C logo engraved on leather in matching tones. In addition, the tote versions are completely reversible with a quick transformation to signature Chanel quilt texture in the same legendary burgundy shade used for the lining of the famous “2.55” bag.

Lily Allen – really – seriously – I don’t even have two words for this. How airbrushed is she in the adverts – and how do you even put Lily Allen and Chanel together – it’s like when you’re baking cakes, and you use that cake covering chocolate crap from Tesco instead of Green & Black’s. Ugh. I mean Peter Andre even said his new perfume would smell like Lily Allen if she was a perfume. I think nothing else needs to be said.

And the bags are horrendous. They look like sleeping bags have been murdered, thrown in a blender and slapped with a Chanel logo. Chanel FAIL. The collection starts at £700.

…excuse me, I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.
