Without a doubt Lissie should not be overlooked as just a pretty face, she has one of the most powerful female vocals around. Check out this acoustic video from Blue Flowers of Lissie singing by a fairground in London. The recorded version doesn’t quite match up to this live take, but still worth checking out, quite an example of over production. Her voice sounds best raw, exposed and natural.
