As LFW draws to a close, what happens to all the lovely samples which have been photographed to within an inch of their lives?

This weekend is London Fashion Weekend, in conjuction with Elle, which is an event for us mere plebs (well not me :p) to enjoy the best of London fashion, as LFW is for trade only. Held at it’s new venue of Somerset House and 180 The Strand, the 4 day event gives you a chance to get down with some designers, bag some limited-edition treats and most importantly, shop to your heart’s content for a reduced price.

Tickets are either black, silver and gold with black being the most basic ticket with just entry to the event to gold guaranteeing you entry to the event, entry to the catwalk show and a show bag, which this year has been designed by Eley Kishimoto. Check out the ticket information here.

London Fashion Weekend have already confirmed 120 designers this season which will be at the event including PPQ, Eley Kishimoto, Luella, Lulu Guinness, Zoe & Morgan, Juicy Couture, Kors by Michael Kors, Pauric Sweeney, Emma Cook, Designer Studio featuring Prada, D&G and Roberto Cavalli, Mawi, Alex Monroe, Sass & Bide, Linda Farrow, American Retro, MIH Jeans who are all selling their collections at up to 75% of retail price. LWith the success of FNO ‘09, London Fashion Weekend is bigger and better this year, to encourage consumers to get out there and spend. Judging by the discounts already hinted, there won’t be a problem with that.

Also for those who may not be able to make down to Somerset House, jewellery and accessories designer Lara Bohinc is holding a sample sale with up to 90% of jewellery, bags and small leather goods at her Sloane Street store. But you’d have to move sharpish, as the sale starts today from 8am to 8pm and finishes tomorrow at 8pm.
