Inspired by the Routemaster, the bus design recognised worldwide. The new bus for London will launch in 2012 and will be packed full of the latest green technology

Design features include:

• Extensive use of glass to highlight key features and produce a light and airy feel inside the bus.
• A glass ’swoop’ at the rear and offside to pick out the two staircases.
• An open platform at the rear, shared with the Routemaster of old, which can be closed off at quiet times and which allows the reinstatement of a hop-on hop-off service.
• Three doors and two staircases for smoother, speedier boarding and access to the upper deck.

Mugo ‘Music On The Go’, have collaborated with artists Julie West, Shin Tanaka, Tougui and Yup, a handful of the worlds best urban artists to create the ‘Artist Series 1′ MP3 player and USB drive.

As the first of its kind, the Mugo stores up to 1000 mp3 tracks, is compatible with both Mac and PC and just look pretty cool. You can buy one of the limited designs here.

“Experience the beautiful game in a truly unique way this June and July in the U.K’s most exciting football space” This is Nike Stadiums at Selfridges.

The Ultralounge is located in the lower-ground floor of the London store and pays homage to the most successful football nation of all time, Brazil. The design is inspired by the country’s passion and energy and features elements spanning all areas of its culture from dance and music to art and entertainment. The decor is based around the colours of the national flag, yellow, green and blue.

To ensure the ultimate football experience at Nike Stadium Nike have placed a state-of-the-art 4 x 4 metre screen in the space. On top of that you are surrounded by 62 plasma screens operated by a ‘Hippotizer’ that range from 19″ to 50″ creating and incredible wrap-around wall of sound.

Be sure to check out one of the rooms adjacent to the viewing stadium to play table football or the latest video games and also the bespoke retail space on the store’s first floor Menswear area, for the best of Nike sportswear.

Over the last month the square of Praça Cantão, Rio De Janeiro has seen Dutch artists Jeroen Koolhaas and Dre Urhahn hard at work transforming this part of the shanty town into a vibrant work of art.

The ghettos are in a terrible condition and can be dangerous places to live in. The work entitled the ‘Favela Painting’ covers over 34 houses in the shanty town and aims to give the poor communities pride in their homes, as everybody pays a part in turning them into stunning pieces of art.
