2009 – A Fashion Story

Hello esperites! I hope you had a very merry Xmas full of festive fun and shopping madness on Boxing Day – especially Selfridges – I did, and I got sensory overload.

I thought I’d do a little round up of 2009 – highlights and lowlights as such (not for the hair, of the year).

This recession has been some crazy shit, unfortunately many fashion houses have borne the brunt namely Christian Lacroix, Luella, Escada and Yohji Yamamoto. Christian Lacroix is still in financial limbo. And it seems Ungaro are going to go the same way – unless they fix up and sort out their ‘creative director.’
