Dr. Martens will be launching a limited edition footwear collection celebrating the 50th anniversary of the bootmaker.

The collection includes of two iconic styles of the brand – the 8-eye 1460 boot and the classic 3-eye 1461 shoe. Each of the styles are made from rich premium polished pebble leather, and come in both Black and Cherry Red colours.

Only 1,460 pairs of boots and 1,461 pairs of the shoe in each colour will be available to buy from DM stores across the world.

Get out and grab a pair from the 1st of April 2010!.

Manish Arora designs Pommery’s Brut Royal Champagne bottle

Pommery invited Indian fashion designer Manish Arora to dress its Brut Royal Champagne bottle. Known for her colorful and kitschy creations, Arora designed a multicolor sheath with gold heart motifs for the French Champagne maker. The limited edition run of 1,500 bottles is available in-store until Valentine’s Day. Over the years, Pommery has collaborated with several fashion designers, including Givenchy, Christian Dior and Inès de la Fressange.

I know – I wouldn’t have put these two brands together either. But they look pretty snazzy. They’re mens but when did that ever stop anyone?

Angela Missoni, the creative director chose this classic silhouette versatile zig-zag pattern from their Fall/Winter 2009-2010 collection to use on their collaboration with Converse because “It’s mythical to me; [it's] the one that girls and boys of all times have liked to wear and is still the coolest today.”

The damage comes in at $200 (£125) for The Missoni for Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars which are released in April 2010. They will be sold at the Missoni boutiques in New York City and Beverly Hills, Jeffrey (in New York and Atlanta) as well as select boutiques internationally.

Following the success of the AW09 collection which luckily you were able to purchase online in the UK and not have to wait in some crazy ass queue on Oxford St (I would never do that – I know I’m a fashion editor – but I have limits).

The first round of +J by Jil Sander for UNIQLO Spring/Summer 2010 collection is slated to hit UNIQLOs on Thursday, January 14, 2010.

Are you excited? I am excited – I was excited for the first collection, but I can’t stand Oxford St, but the fact that it’s available online makes it so much easier… click the pictures to see more preview images.

Timed for the release of Tim Burton’s much-anticipated take on the author’s children’s classic, “Alice in Wonderland,” French department store, Printemps has invited fashion’s most controversial designers; Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane, Maison Martin Margiela, Bernhard Willhelm, Haider Ackermann, Manish Arora and Ann Demeulemeester to each dream up a one-off dress for Alice. The resulting frocks will be exhibited in the store’s windows from the end of February, in time for Paris Fashion Week.
