These are amazing and yes, after bread and water, a complete necessity. I mean, who would not want a Star Wars New Era cap? WHO?! The Star Wars x Adidas Originals collab is aimed at you Y-Chromosomed Oppressors, no wonder, if anyone had daddy issues, it was definitely Darth Vader.

A couple of weeks ago I went along to the Adidas SS10 press day, where I got to see some very delightful wares, including the Jeremy Scott collab, and the Fafi collab (in another post). One thing that was kept very hush hush, was the Star Wars x Adidas collab. So hush hush I didn’t even know about it (and I know everything! Except how to ride a bike).

Because I was being a bit dopey and dead tired (I have 2 jobs) I didn’t take any photos on my phone. But the Star Wars collab includes Hans Solo, Luke Skywalker, Yoda (I kid you not) and Darth Vader creps and limited edition T-Shirts with Star Wars prints and a snazzy hoodie.

The collection is all men’s (like that stopped anyone before wearing men’s kicks) but they have one woman’s shoe, inspired by Princess Leia’s metal bikini when she was Jabba The Hut’s slave girl. Yeah I know you know that scene.. one thing that bugs me, is that why a shoe inspired by her bikini? Why not her entire outfit? I’d be on that like Jabba’s ooze on a marble worktop.

Holy Moly, How did I nearly let this slip through the radar? First Darth? Now stormtroppers. The future only knows what beautifull colab star wars figures are to come. Maybe Jabba?
